Public Service Values Program Seminar for NICA Employees Nationwide

FOCIG was afforded a blessed opportunity to conduct its Civil Service Commission-accredited Public Service Values Program Seminar to 556 employees of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency. It was a nationwide engagement with some attending onsite at the NICA Central Office and others from various regional branches attending online via Zoom.

Based on the evaluation sheets submitted, a big majority of the participants found the seminar relevant, useful, and practical, and thought the teaching style was appropriate and effective. They also rated the speakers and facilitators as very good to excellent.

Furthermore, we thank God that, aside from what they learned about public service with values, 227 said they decided to connect with God and establish a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ during the seminar. Fifty-six (56) said they want to be mentored in a small group. 253 are recommending the seminar to other offices.

Below are some of the participants’ comments and feedback:

  • This seminar is a valuable opportunity that greatly contributes to shaping and strengthening our moral and spiritual values, guiding us to become more ethical, compassionate, and dedicated public servants.
  • The seminar is very relevant specially corruption in the government is prevalent.
  • It is nice to hear positive messages from time to time and be refreshed by the Word of God.
  • Gives the participants a brief respite from thinking of worldly matters (work) and reflect on the spiritual.
  • This seminar should be conducted to all government officials and employees, specifically those occupying supervisory positions and up, as well as the elected officials.
