Intentional and Balanced Leadership Modules for National Police Training Institute (NPTI) Regional Training Center 6 (RTC 6)

Continuing its commitment for the transformation of the NPTI, FOCIG conducted its leadership seminars “Leading with Work-Life Balance” and “Mentoring Leadership” to forty (40) police personnel of RTC 6, including five (5) police officers from the PNP Regional Medical and Dental Unit of Region 6 last July 27-28, 2023 in Bacolod City.

Led by their Director Police Lt. Col. Susan Mangaldan, all the participants found the seminar relevant, useful, practical, and effectively facilitated. Likewise, all of them rated the seminar speakers and small group facilitators as excellent, very good, and very satisfactory. They recommended that the seminar be conducted to other police units. 

Thirty-two (32) of the participants decided to get connected with God and establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ after being presented the Gospel, with fifteen (15) wanting to be mentored in a small group setting.

The seminar/activities helped us to reflect within ourselves and gave us new realization to improve our personality, our personal life, and to be a better leader. Furthermore this 2-day seminar also allowed us to know our colleagues regarding their personal lives, perspective, struggles, as well as their positive point of view and coping mechanisms in dealing with their personal issues.

This seminar is one of the best experiences I ever had. It got me closer to God, my spouse, and my son. Thank you so much to all the people behind this wonderful opportunity that touches everyone’s life through your words as God’s beautiful children.

This seminar/workshop had a great impact on me as a human being, a parent, a leader, and a mentor.

The seminar was very successful. It touched my heart to establish relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.

I recommend this seminar be included in the program of instructions of police students at training centers.

The 2 day seminar brought so many realizations, especially in personal and family relationships. It became an avenue for me to do better in building loving and harmonious  relationships whether in my family or in my work (colleagues / subordinates).
