Leadership Seminars for Baguio City Government

In support of Mayor Benjamin Magalong’s advocacy for good governance, FOCIG conducted its Leading with Work-Life Balance and Mentoring Leadership Seminars pro-bono for forty-seven (47) participants coming from various units of the city government last June 27-28, 2024 at Tugos Hotel, Baguio City.

Based on the participants’ evaluation sheets, almost all of them (98%) rated the seminar, speakers, and facilitators as excellent and found the seminar relevant, useful, and practical. They appreciated the teaching style as appropriate and effective.

Aside from the learnings they got about how to become more effective leaders at home and in their workplaces, twenty-seven (27) said that they got connected with God and established a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ during the seminar. Twelve (12) expressed their desire to be mentored through a small group. Thirty-seven (37) of them are also recommending the seminar to be conducted to their other colleagues.

Below are some of the participants’ comments and feedback:

  • I just want to thank our Lord for the FOCIG team; for their love to impart their knowledge on how to become a good Dad and Mom and to be public servants guided by principles of God. I thank LGU Baguio for the opportunity to be part of this awakening seminar.
  • Enlightening, inspiring, and motivating.
  • Thank you so much FOCIG team. More training on spirituality.
  • Thank you for the informative discussions that helped me discover my purpose in life.
  • Can we be allowed to attend modules 3 and 4? Sana out town and to include team building.
  • The seminar has touched my soft heart, evaluated my past life, my being a mother, being an employee, and had given me the chance to accept Jesus.

I recommend FOCIG to others who want to know about the Bible
