CONTINUING VALUES FORMATION IN BAGUIO CITY

Last March 25-26, 2026, at the Plaza Garden Hotel in Baguio City, God gave FOCIG the privilege of partnering with Mayor Benjie Magalong to develop righteous and excellent public servants in the city. For the 3rd batch, forty-five (45) Baguio City personnel, with four (4) DepEd officials from the Baguio National High School (BNHS), attended our Leading with Work-Life Balance and Mentoring Leadership Seminars.

The participants were very eager to learn and participate in the discussions. Forty-one (41) respondents to our evaluation form said the seminars were relevant, useful, and practical. They also rated the teaching style as appropriate and effective. All the speakers and breakout group facilitators were rated as very good to excellent.

Furthermore, we praise God that 38 participants chose to connect with God and establish a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Thirty-four (34) said that they want to be mentored through a small group, and 40 recommended that the seminar be conducted in other LGU offices.

  • Thank you for this seminar, which strengthened my relationship with God, my family, and my officemates.

Many were delighted that Mayor Benjie graced the closing ceremony and afterward had warm fellowship with our ministry team over coffee.

As part of FOCIG’s MOU with the Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) and Christians for Nation Building (C4NB), Niels had already emailed Principal Whitz Dawayen of BNHS, offering the same program to public school teachers and other DepEd officials in Baguio.

So, we look forward to C4NB following through on their Youth Program, as we continue to trust and obey God to raise future godly and competent leaders, and to see good governance prevail in His time!

For all who prayed and supported our team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We covet more prayers and support for our plans to minister to the BAGUIO LGU and BNHS for God’s glory!
