Intentional and Balanced Leadership (IBL) Modules for NPTI Regional Training Center 9 in Zamboanga City
FOCIG continued with its leadership seminars in Mindanao this time by conducting the “Leading with Work-Life Balance” and “Mentoring Leadership” seminars for RTC 9 on January 17-18, 2024 to forty-seven (47) police officers and staff of the training center and police officers from the PNP Regional Medical Dental Unit 9.
The participants found the seminars relevant, useful, and practical and the teaching methods appropriate and effective. Almost all the respondents to the evaluation form rated the seminar speakers and small group facilitators as excellent. They suggested that other police units also be given the opportunity to attend the seminars.
When the Gospel was shared towards the end of the seminar, we praise God that twenty-seven (27) indicated that they established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Nineteen (19) said that they have established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ previously.
Some comments and feedback from the participants:
- I suggest to extend it to 3-4 days because the topics are really interesting and motivated us a lot especially in the aspects of family.
- All the speakers and facilitators are well versed and gave me more courage to serve God. It was a very nice encounter and relevant to my career and as a parent.
- I was able to release my pain inside my heart. I loved this kind of activity because it helps us to destress and change our attitudes from bad to good.
- This reminds me to acknowledge God’s abiding presence in all aspects in my life. It allows me also to look back, examine myself, and heal so that I will become a better person honoring God.
- This seminar is an eye opener. It teaches about everything what needs to improve about myself as a leader not only at work but also in my family.
- Because of this seminar I got connected with God and I will trust Him all the time and that He is always loving, guiding, and protecting me and my family.
- This seminar helps uplift the moral and spiritual values of every individual, especially those persons suffering from trials and problems in life.
