Intentional and Balanced Leadership Modules for National Police Training Institute (NPTI) Regional Training Center Calabarzon (RTC 4A)

Last October 3-4, 2023, the FOCIG team drove to Lucena, Quezon to conduct its “Leading with Work-Life Balance” and “Mentoring Leadership” seminars to thirty-eight (38) staff of RTC 4A and their invited stakeholders from the Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and the Department of Education. 

Our lady facilitators were even blessed with beautiful handwoven baskets made by inmates from the Bureau of Jail Management. This was part of their livelihood program. (Eventually, FOCIG ordered 17 bags for its Main Leadership and Ugnayan Event on October 24, 2023, through Jail Warden Elaine D. Toledo.)

Under the leadership of RTC 4A Training Director Police Col. Marlon V. Rufo, the participants rated the seminar useful, relevant, and practical. The seminar speakers and small group facilitators were likewise rated as excellent. The majority recommended that the seminar be conducted to other police units. 

Twenty-nine (29) of the participants decided to get connected with God and establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ after the Gospel was presented.

• Very enlightening and value-adding seminar, not just on leadership per se but on all that matters to us a person, family, community and a nation. A nation under one God people with integrity and faith in the Lord.
