FOCIG had its first leg of its leadership seminars in Mindanao at RTC 10 in Cagayan de Oro.  The “Leading with Work-Life Balance” and “Mentoring Leadership” seminars were conducted on August 14-15, 2023 to fifty (50) police officers and staff of the training center, including 10 police officers from the PNP Regional Medical Dental Unit 10.

Led by RTC 10 Director Police Lt. Col. Fermin D. Armendarez III and graced by the presence of NPTI Director Police Maj. Gen. Ritchie Medardo A. Posadas, the Training Center participants expressed appreciation for the relevance, usefulness, and practicality of the seminars and the appropriateness and effectiveness of the teaching methods and activities. All respondents to the evaluation form rated the seminar speakers and small group facilitators as excellent. They suggested that other police units also be given the opportunity to attend the seminars.

Praise God that when the Gospel was shared towards the end of the seminar, thirty-four (34) indicated that they established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Let us pray that they would be followed-up by our partner pastors with the Bless Our Cops movement.

• This seminar is very essential to the PNP Organization in order to empower our organization, especially for us to good models in our society. I believe that if the police officer is God-Centered, he or she will not commit an offense.
