22 Senior Officials of the National Police Training Institute (NPTI) Decided to Get Connected with Jesus Christ

Police Major General Ritchie Medardo A. Posadas, the new Director of the PNPTI, invited FOCIG to conduct its CSC-Accredited Leading with Work-Life Balance Seminar for 44 officers of the Institute last January 16, 2023, at its headquarters in Camp BGen. Vicente P. Lim, Calamba, Laguna.

PM Gen. Posadas had shared with FOCIG that he applied for the position because he “believes that he can be an instrument to all PNP trainees nationwide to inculcate good values, principles, and practices, especially to those who will be joining the police at an early stage in their lives.” He also said, “I know that I can make quality, disciplined, and God-fearing policemen/women that are expected by the Filipino people.”

Officers from 17 Regional Training Directors and 27 other senior officials from NPTI Headquarters attended the seminar. The lessons imparted were much appreciated, and most of them said that the seminar was useful, relevant, practical, and was conducted in an appropriate and effective manner.

• [It was a] Life-changing seminar.
• This seminar is very enlightening. All officers of NPTI should undergo this training. Follow-up session should be done so that PNP personnel can develop deep understanding of Christian leadership.
• May this kind of seminar be conducted also to the newly graduated police officers.
• The seminar helped me to evaluate myself as a father and a leader.
  • Continue your good intention and mission to help many parents to improve their relationship with their families.
• I highly recommend that this seminar be also given to other personnel of this unit.

As always, the gospel was also presented to all the participants. The impact? Twenty-two (22)  decided to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; five (5) wanted to be mentored in a small group; 32 recommended the seminar be conducted to other units. In fact, several of them have asked Niels if we could do the same for their training centers.

God willing, the FOCIG team with Mr. Art Florentin and Mrs. Emma Cruz, both Christian HR experts, will join us when we pray and plan with Maj. Gen. Posadas, not just on how to efficiently cascade the leadership modules to the 17 Regional Training Centers, but even help with their Performance Score Cards. Please pray and believe with us for the transformation of lives in the Philippine National Police.
